On October 1, the students of classes IX - XII came together to celebrate the birth anniversaries of two extraordinary leaders who shaped the nation’s destiny: Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation, and Lal Bahadur Shastri, India’s former Prime Minister known for his iconic call “Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan.”
To mark the occasion, a special senior school assembly was organised for classes 9 through 12, creating a reflective and inspiring atmosphere for the students.
The event commenced with an engaging Group Discussion, where senior students exchanged thought-provoking ideas on Gandhi ji’s timeless core values—Ahimsa (Non-violence), Satya (Truth), and Swaraj (Self-reliance). The panel highlighted how these principles remain deeply relevant in today's fast-paced world, encouraging peers to apply truth and peaceful conflict resolution in their day-to-day lives.
Following the discussion, a special video presentation was screened, capturing Mahatma Gandhi’s life journey from his early days to leading landmark movements like the Salt March. The visual showcase gave students a moving look into his sacrifices, unwavering discipline, and vision for an inclusive India.
The assembly concluded with encouraging words from our Principal, who urged students to lead by example, honor Shastri ji's humility, and walk the path of truth. The morning ended on a proud note as the hall stood in unison for the National Anthem.
